The Rack Marketer feature makes it possible for rack marketers to use DTN TABS to receive real-time BOLs and implement product and credit allocations in much the same way that sellers do. Some of the key benefits of using DTN TABS are as follows:

  •  DTN TABS credit controls reduce marketer and supplier exposure to financial risk.

  • DTN TABS product controls allow marketers to better manage their own allocations and the volume they’re willing to re-sell.

  • Real-time BOLs enable faster billing, better cash flow, and more profitability.

  • DTN TABS Alerts provide marketers with proactive monitoring of terminal activity. Alerts can be set up to provide advance warning of a potential denial, and that can give the marketer time to take proactive action to prevent the denial, therefore reducing call volume for both the marketer and the supplier.

Anyone who has an inventory position at a terminal that is DTN TABS capable can use DTN TABS. If you are not an inventory position holder and your supplier uses DTN TABS, then in most cases you can use DTN TABS or DTN TABS Rack Marketer.

If you are using the Rack Marketer feature, the Marketer Consignee ID that is used in your DTN TABS database must be identical to the Supplier Consignee ID used by your supplier .
