Override Alerts overview
Override Alerts notifies when a possible override has occurred at a terminal and consignee for which the DTN TABS service has previously issued a deny.
Setting up an Override Alert
| Location: Alerts > Override |
Here’s how to set up an Override Alert:
-
Select the Activate Override Alert box to indicate the alert is activated.
-
Enter the time (in minutes) for the time between when the deny transaction is issued and the receipt by DTN TABS of a CB transaction in the Override Interval Time (In Minutes) field. If a CB transaction or BL UNAUTH (send only transaction) is received after the time specified in the Override Interval Time (In Minutes) field, an alert is not sent.
-
Select the send address from the Alert Sender Address field. This is the email address that sends notification of the alert.
-
Select the receiver and contacts that should receive this alert from the Alert Receiver Lists and Contacts field.
-
Click the Paper Clip icon to add the list or contact.
-
Repeat steps 4 and 5 for additional alert recipients.
-
Click Save.
NOTE: To deactivate an alert instead of deleting it, clear the Activate Alert box. The alert is deactivated but remains in your DTN TABS database where it can be re-activated at a future date.
