Forecast Terminal Status overview

The Forecast Terminal Status page allows the Supply Group to perform an initial review of the terminal level forecast.

 

Forecast Terminal Status field definitions

The following fields are available on the Forecast Terminal Status page.

Field Description
Forecast Terminal Status panel
Search By Describes the criteria selected to search for this record. Options are:

  • Terminal & TG
  • Terminal by Name
  • Terminal Group
  • Terminal SPLC
  • Terminal by City
  • Terminal by Plant
  • Terminal by State
Terminal Displays a terminal. When you select a terminal, the system populates the Product field with the products that have been assigned to the selected terminal.

Provides a terminal group. When you select a terminal group, the system populates the Product field with the products that have been assigned to the terminals within the selected terminal group.
Search By Describes the criteria selected to search for this record. Options are:

  • Product Name
  • Product Group
Product Specifies a product name or product group associated with the selected terminal.
Forecast Month Specifies the forecast month to review.
Terminal Problem Status Options are:

  • All
  • Problem
  • Clear

The default is All.
Net Change % Filters results based on if the change from previous forecast is +/- the percent indicated.
Display in Unit of Measure Options are:

  • Barrels
  • Cubic Meters
  • Gallons
  • Imperial Gallons
  • Imperial Ton
  • Kilo Barrels
  • Kilograms
  • Liters
  • Metric Ton
  • Millions of Gallons
  • Pounds
  • Thousands of Barrels per Day
  • Thousands of Gallons
  • Ton
using # digits of precision Displays the number of decimal places to display. The default (maximum) is 7.
Terminals panel
Forecasted Month Describes the month for the forecasted volume.
Terminal Indicates the Terminal name. Click the Terminal name link to display the Forecast Setup page to view forecast records and make any changes to bring the record into compliance.
Product Contains the product/product group of the forecast.
Current Forecasted Amount Specifies the volume the forecast record currently represents including any modifications post-finalized status.
Finalized Forecasted Amount Defines the current volume of the forecast record once the record moves to finalized status
Unit of Measure Provides the UOM of the record.
% Change Since Final Displays the change in forecasted volume for the terminal/product since at least one CHANNEL entered a finalized state
Terminal  Problem Identifies a terminal issue, if yes.
Comment Allows the user to provide additional information regarding the record.
View Change Log Displays the window for this record and allows review of the log, if the View Change Log link is clicked.

Items listed in bold in this log indicate a change from the previous record.
Forecast Terminal Status Details panel
Channel Name Indicates the Channel name. Click the Channel name link to display the Forecast Setup page to view forecast records and make any changes to bring the record into compliance.
Initial Forecasted Amount Provides the original system-generated forecasted volume pre-edits.
Total Forecasted Amount Specifies the current volume the forecasts represent post edits.
Unit of Measure Contains the UOM the record represents.
% Change Since Final Displays the percentage the forecasts have been changed since the records moved in to a finalized status within the module.

Location: Allocations > Forecast > Terminal Status

Here’s how to search on the Forecast Terminal Status page:

  1. Enter criteria in at least one of the fields to narrow the search results.

  2. Click Search.

 

Viewing the Forecast Terminal Status Detail panel

Location: Allocations > Forecast > Terminal Status

Here’s how to view the Forecast Terminal Status Detail panel:

  1. Click + next to the desired forecast record to view details on that forecast record.
