Forecast Preapproved Request overview

Forecast Preapproved Requests accept customer requests for additional allocation volume provided the change request falls below a pre-set configured percentage.  This releases the analyst from having to respond to small change requests that Supply can easily cover.

Forecast Preapproved Request Setup
Search By Describes the criteria selected to search for this record. Options are:

  • Terminal & TG
  • Terminal by Name
  • Terminal Group
  • Terminal SPLC
  • Terminal by City
  • Terminal by Plant
  • Terminal by State
Terminal Displays a terminal. When you select a terminal, the system populates the Product field with the products that have been assigned to the selected terminal.

Provides a terminal group. When you select a terminal group, the system populates the Product field with the products that have been assigned to the terminals within the selected terminal group.
Search By Describes the criteria selected to search for this record. Options are:

  • Product Name
  • Product Group
Product Specifies a product name or product group associated with the selected terminal.
Channel Indicates the channel name associated with the terminal/terminal group and product name/product group.
Pre-Approve Change Requests
Terminal Displays the terminal of the Forecast Preapprove request.
Product Defines the product.
Channel Indicates the channel of this request
Pre-Approved Forecast Change % Allows you to enter the desired percentage to be approved without manual intervention.
Comments Contains the reason changes are being made.
