Forecast Planning overview

Forecast Planning is a repeatable collaborative business process to forecast long term future liftings with the goal of providing the insight need for future planning.

 


Forecast Planning field definitions

The following fields are available on the Forecast Planning page.

Panel Field Description
Planning Forecast Filter fields
Supply Point Supply point grouping code for terminals
Terminal/Terminal Group Terminal or Terminal Group where Forecast Header exists.
Product/Product Group/Product Family Product, Product Group or Product Family where Forecast Header exists
Channel Channel or Class of Trade assigned to the Customer (Consignee) where Forecast Header exists.
Consignee / Consignee Group Consignee or Consignee group where Forecast Header exists.
Customer Segment Segment assigned to SoldTos where associated Consignee/Consignee Group has an existing Forecast Header.
Sales Manager Sales/Territory Manager assigned to SoldTos where associated Consignee / Consignee Group has an existing Forecast Header.
Show Only Forecast in Error Limits results to Forecast Headers where error occurred while processing the Planning Forecast.
Convert amounts to Determines the UOM used to display aggregated Planning Forecast values.
Using digits of precision Digits of precision to use when displaying aggregated Planning Forecast values.

Searching on the Forecast Planning page

Location: Allocations > Forecast > Planning

Here’s how to search on the Forecast Planning page:

NOTE: To do a mass edit, do not enter anything in the fields and click Search. All available Plans display in the search results.

  1. Enter criteria in at least one of the fields to narrow the search results.

  2. Click Search.
