Forecast Reports

DTN TABS Forecast Reports provides valuable information about the forecasting module in TABS.

Forecast Audit
- Displays changes for forecasts in a specified month.
Forecast Historical Lifting Report
- Analyzes the data being used to generate forecasts by showing the lifting history for the criteria selected.
Forecast Report
- Contains the calculations that were used to generate the selected forecasts and identifies which forecasts are out of tolerance and should be reviewed in their internal review process.
Projected Forecast Performance Report
- Evaluates, by customer, how each forecast is performing by comparing it against actual liftings in the same month.
Spot Contract Report
- This report will show the forecasts and allocations which are applicable for the spot channel and how much available forecast is remaining.
Forecast Change Request Report
- Displays all change requests, including preapproved, for a specific month.
Historical Allocation and Forecast Comparison Report
- Provides both a historical and forecasted volume for a terminal or terminal group for select month(s) in order to compare liftings to forecasted volumes for trend analysis.
Future Month Forecast Report
- Generates forecasts for multiple months out from the current month.
Forecast Seasonality Report
- Creates a forecast seasonality report that shows the actual liftings for each year.

Country
- Provides the country for the report.
Supply Point
- Provides the supply point for the report.
Terminal/Terminal Group
- Selects a terminal or terminal group. When you select a terminal or terminal group, the system only shows audits of the specified terminal or terminal group.
SoldTo
- Identifies the customer purchasing the product. SoldTos allow for increased data integrity, it can be assigned to a seller consignee, marketer consignee, consignee group and credit allocation alerts.

Month

Report Results for Forecast Audit

Definitions for the Forecast Audit Report results are:

Date Modified
- Identifies the date and time of modifications.
Country
- Describes the country for the report.
Supply Point
- Describes the supply point for the report.
Terminal
- Contains the unique identifier for the terminal. The Terminal ID consists of the SPLC code for the terminal and the Terminal Owner’s ID.
Product
- Specifies the product group or product family.
Customer
- Provides a user-defined name for the customer.
Channel
- Identifies the name for the channel of trade.
SoldTo
- Describes the window and report display name for the customer to whom product is sold.
Username
- Identifies the user.
Type
- Displays the type of change. Options are:
  - Internal user
  - Customer request
Change Type
- Determines if the change was done on an amount or a Flag.
Forecast Type
- Identifies if the forecast type is Allocation or report only.
Allocation Type
- Specifies whether the Product Allocation type used is Flat or Hierarchical.
Original Value
- Identifies the original forecasted value.
New Value
- Contains the new forecasted value.
Unit of Measure
- Indicates the unit of measure is being used for the allocation.
Comments
- Displays user defined comments.

Forecast Historical Lifting Report

The Forecast Historical Lifting Report allows you to analyze the data being used to generate forecasts by showing the lifting history for the criteria selected.

Start Date/End Date
- Contains the desired start and end dates of the reporting period.
Channel
- Links customers to a class of trade (branded, wholesale, etc.). Select from the pre-populated list to filter what specific channel to analyze.
SoldTo
- Identifies the customer purchasing the product. SoldTos allow for increased data integrity and can be assigned to a seller consignee, marketer consignee, consignee group and credit allocation alerts.
Terminal/Terminal Group
- Selects a terminal or terminal group. When you select a terminal or terminal group, the system only shows audits of the specified terminal or terminal group.
Restrict to Assigned Products
- Contains only those selections for Products, Product Goods and Product Families that are available at the selected terminal/terminal group and consignee/consignee group, if Restrict to Assigned Products is selected.
- This is an optional field.
Product
- Specifies the product, product group, or product family in order to run the report.
Product Groups
- Displays the product groups based on the selections made in the Terminal or Terminal Group field and Consignee or Consignee Group field.
Display Unit of Measure
- Describes the unit of measure to view the report. Options are:
  - Cubic Meters
  - Gallons
  - Imperial Gallons
  - Imperial Ton
  - Kilo Barrels
  - Kilograms
  - Liters
  - Metric Ton
  - Pounds
  - Ton
Digits of precision
- Displays the number of decimal places to display. The default is 7.

- Specifies the original value of the forecast prior to the request.
Requested Amount
- Contains the volume the requester wishes to have added to the existing forecast.
Approved Amount
- Defines the volume that has been approved by the supplier.

- Describes the unit of measure. Options are:

- Displays the phone number of the user that submitted the comment.

- Provides additional information regarding the request entered by the user.

The Historical Allocation and Forecast Comparison Report is designed to provide both a historical and forecasted volume for a terminal or terminal group for select month(s) in order to compare liftings to forecasted volumes for trend analysis.
