The Consignee pages allows you to add and manage consignees. DTN TABS defines a consignee”as the customer or the buyer of the product. In some cases a consignee may be a ShipTo location for the customer. In other cases, the consignee may designate the BillTo location of the customer.

If you are a seller, use the Seller Consignee page (Data Management > Seller Consignees) to add consignees. DTN TABS sellers own product at terminals and sell that product to marketers and consignees.

If you are a marketer, use the Marketer Consignee page (Data Management > Marketer Consignees) to add consignees. DTN TABS marketers are rack wholesalers who do not own product at a terminal, but who sell a DTN TABS seller’s product to the TABS Marketer’s consignees. A TABS Marketer must first be approved by the Seller in order to use DTN TABS for allocation control.

You can also add consignees through the ADMLOD process.
