What are Terminal Inactivity Alerts?
Terminal Inactivity Alerts notify you when DTN TABS inactivity at a terminal has exceeded a pre-defined length of time. Inactivity is defined as a lack of flow of DTN TABS transactions from the terminal to DTN TABS and back. Inactivity generally indicates a connection issue between DTN TABS and the terminal.
What are Override Alerts?
Override alerts notify you when a possible override has occurred at a terminal for which the DTN TABS service has previously issued a deny. The Override Alert page (Alerts > Override) allows you to setup and modify override alerts.
What type of Deny Alerts can you create?
The Deny Alerts page (Alerts > Deny) lets you set up the following types of alerts: · Credit Deny issues an alert whenever a load is denied based on a credit allocation being exhausted. · Product Deny issues an alert whenever a load is denied based on a product allocation being exhausted. · Customer Alert issues an alert to the specified consignee or consignee group
What are Deny Alerts?

How does Alerts Sender List work?
Location: Alerts > Email Preferences > Senders You can have a separate sender for each type of alert. Or you can designate your alerts to come from your company’s help center. When DTN TABS detects an alert situation, it generates an email to your specified receivers for that type of alert. The alerts sender that you specify in the From portion

Location: Alerts > Email Preferences > Receivers You can set up individual contacts and then group them into lists. Multiple lists can be created and managed independently of each other.
How do I set up an alert?
Here’s how to set up an alert notification: Set up alerts receivers (Alerts > Email Preferences > Receivers). Set up alerts senders (Alerts > Email Preferences > Senders). Select an alert type and set it up. Associate senders and receivers to the alert.
How are alert notifications transmitted?
Alerts can be transmitted to an email and/or a SMS address. If you select the option to send as SMS, the alert will be shortened so it would fit in a text message if needed.
How often does DTN TABS check to see if something has occurred that should trigger an alert?
Once an alert has been set up, DTN TABS checks processing every 5 minutes to determine whether a transaction has occurred that should trigger an alert. If so, the system sends the alert to the address as defined through this page.
