Marketer Consignee

Rack Marketers are approved by a supplier who either has an inventory position or an exchange relationship with an inventory holder at terminals. You can setup a rack marketer that is approved by an inventory position holder. The Rack Marketer feature makes it possible for rack marketers to use DTN TABS to receive real-time BOLs and implement product and credit allocations in much the same way that sellers do. Only users of the Seller company who are authorized through the TABS Users page (Admin > TABS Users) with All, All Except Auth, and CSR defined roles (Admin > Roles) can access the TABS Marketers page (Admin > TABS Marketers).

Sellers can use the TABS Marketers page  (Admin > TABS Marketers) to approve DTN TABS marketers and to assign allocation viewing privileges. Sellers can also change and delete previously created approvals, and export current approvals in an Excel (CSV) format. To add a consignee to a group, you must first setup a consignee group through the Consignee Groups page (Data Management > Consignee Groups). Once that is done, you can assign consignees to that group either through the Consignee Groups page  (Data Management > Consignee Groups) or the appropriate Consignee Setup page (Data Management > Marketer Consignees) or (Data Management > Seller Consignees).

If the carrier you want is not in the Available Carriers list, you may need to add it.

Once a consignee has been added to your database, you can assign carriers to the consignee. You can assign a carrier to a consignee through the appropriate Consignee Setup page (Data Management > Marketer Consignees) or (Data Management > Seller Consignees).

If the terminal you want is not in the Available Terminals list, you may need to add it or call DTN PetroEx Support  for additional information on the terminal. See the Contact Us section for more information on communicating with support.

Once a consignee has been added to your database, you need to assign that consignee to the terminal or terminals where that consignee is allowed to load product. Terminal assignments can be made through the Seller (Data Management > Seller Consignees) or Marketer Consignees page (Data Management > Marketer Consignees).
