Terminal Inactivity Alerts column definitions
The following columns are available on the Terminal Inactivity Alerts page.

Description |
| Active | Indicates that the alert notification has been activated, if selected. |
| Alert on Resumed Activity | Sends an alert when activity resumes, if selected. |
| Terminal Name | Contains a user-defined name for a specific terminal. |
| Inactivity Period (in minutes) | Specifies the length of time (in minutes) that can be inactive at a terminal before an alert is issued. |
| Sender | Provides the name and email address of the person sending the email. |
| Receiver | Identifies the name and email addresses of the individual contacts and the name and email addresses of any Distribution lists receiving the email. |
| Actions | Allows for the editing and delete of an alert. |
Adding a Terminal Inactivity Alert

Here’s how to add a Terminal Inactivity Alert:

Click Add Terminal Alert.

Select the Activate Alert check box to indicate that the alert notification has been activated.

Select the terminal from the Terminal arrow to assign to this alert.

Enter the time (in minutes) that DTN TABS can be inactive at a terminal before an alert is sent in the Inactivity Time field.

Select the Send Alert When Activity Resumes check box, if desired, for DTN TABS to send an alert when the terminal resumes communication.

Select the Use Only BOL Activity check box if desired, for DTN TABS to send an alert for BOL activity.

Select the send address from the Alert Sender Address field. This is the email address that sends notification of the alert.

Select the receiver and contacts that should receive this alert from the Alert Receiver Lists and Contacts field.

Click the Paper Clip icon to add the list or contact.

Repeat steps 6 and 7 for additional alert recipients.

Click Save.
When the terminal is inactive for the minutes specified in the Inactivity Time field, the selected receivers and contacts identified in the Alert Receiver Lists and Contacts field receive notification from the sender defined in the Alert Sender Address field.
