You can create an alert for the following:

  • Terminal Inactivity Alerts  (Alerts > Terminal Inactivity) notifies personnel when a terminal quits sending DTN TABS any information at a configurable threshold. There is also an optional Terminal Resumed Activity alert that can be selected..

  • Deny Alerts (Alerts > Deny) warns personnel when a Setup Denial (ex – Deny 5 – Invalid Consignee), Credit Denial (ex – Deny 9 – Credit Allocation Exhausted), Product Denial (ex – Deny 10 – Product Allocation Exhausted), or a Customer Specific Deny Alert (ex – Client XYZ’s marketing representative wants to know if they receive any denials so they can proactively respond and correct if needed) occurs

  • Override Alerts (Alerts > Override) informs personnel when a Deny occurs then within the timeframe specified that DTN TABS receives an unauthorized BOL (CB or BL Unauth) for the same terminal/consignee that was denied.

  • Product Allocation Alerts (Alerts > Product Allocation) notifies personnel or customers when a product allocation is either refreshed, goes below a configurable percentage, or does/doesn’t lift a configurable percentage within the timeframe indicated. This is the most common alert that goes to both internal and external users of TABS.

  • Credit Allocation Alerts (Alerts > Credit Allocation) warns personnel or customers when a credit allocation goes below a configurable percentage. Customer Managed Alerts: allows customers to configure allocation alerts for their account using the Allocation Viewer option.

  • Terminal Product Performance Alert (Alerts > Performance) notifies when the overall product allocation, at a terminal reaches a specified percentage of allocations/

  • Master Data Alerts (Alerts > Master Data) notifies when any Master Data file is received from the SAP Master Data Feed with the Summary Alert. The Error Alert notifies of any transactions that cause an error in processing within the Master Data Feed

  • Unauthorized Load Alerts (Alerts > Unauthorized Load) informs when an unauthorized load is pulled at a DTN TABS terminal. Alerts can be configured at terminal, terminal group or all terminals levels for easy setup. Since unauthorized loads can often occur in bunches, it recommended that the number of minutes between alerts when multiple unauthorized loads are detected at the same terminal needs to be determined. Once an authorized load is received at the terminal, a summary alert is generated informing of the total number of unauthorized loads and the time span during which they occurred.

  • No Load BOL Alert (Alerts > No Load BOL Alert) notifies when a driver cards in at a terminal, but cards out before loading. This could happen when the driver doesn’t see availability for the product they wanted to load.

  • Forecast Alerts  (Alerts > Forecast) indicates when a forecast record is available for review, additional records have been created, records have been changed, customer change requests have been made, volume changes have been made that exceed terminal tolerance settings, records have been finalized, or if any of the validation flags have not been removed when the records go in to a Finalized status.

  • Truck Size Alert (Alerts > Truck Size) provides alerts that notify when the sum of the product amounts of multiple BOLs for the same authorization is greater than the expected truck size.

The amount is verified for only multiple BOLs

  • Supply Event Alert (Alerts > Supply Event) allows different email templates for each country and channels for these alerts.

A supply event could be created for some channels or for all channels of product allocations. The alerts are sent only to SoldTos that have Active or Unenforced product allocations statuses. In the case that an event is limited to some channels, only users affected by these channels receive alerts.

An alert, email or SMS, is sent for each of the following events:

  • Event Created

  • Event Day in Advance

  • Event Started

  • Event Ended

Only one alert is sent if multiple events happened at the same time. There is also a floating Change event that can occur any time after an outage is created, even after an event has ended.

Messages can be configured in the Alert Language Editor page. There are 3 types of Supply Event alerts:

  • Supply Event New Alert

  • Supply Event Changed Alert

  • Supply Event Ended Alert
